11. Statesmanship requires statesmen (and women, of course)

Statesmanship is demonstrated by how one behaves when they win or lose. Losing sucks but how it's handled illustrates character. When Senator McCain conceded to then-Senator Obama, he acted with grace and love of country to ensure legitimizing our first African American president. (Ugh! Did I just compliment John McCain?!)

It will be up to Senator Sanders to set the tone for his supporters when he acknowledges Secretary Clinton as the Democratic nominee. Then we'll see lots of interesting things.
