Shows what a serious young man Obama was and how he found his sense of humor, as he describes himself in the years before Harvard. Learning about his formative years helps to grasp the depth of commitment he has regarding serious issues and where his moral compass is. A poster commented on Obama's high stage of self-actualization, and I agree completely. This is a man who has been open and aware of all the people and needs about him most of his life. He continues to stay true to his values but keeps on learning. I believe in his intention.
