The latest idiocy is that the president "self-identified" as a Moderate Republican because of his statements on how "mainstream" his policies/politics are and that most people are aware that he's not interested in implementing socialism in the country.

It's as plain as day what he's saying. But when you are desperate to make it appear that your irrational feelings have some basis, I guess anything goes.

Obama made the latest comments in response to a question about why he did well in the election with Cuban-American voters in Florida who could be concerned about the U.S. moving toward socialism because of their experiences with Fidel Castro.


How anyone can take "I am a moderate Republican" from that is proof positive of how utterly lacking in anything resembling honesty and coherence some of his "leftist" detractors are.
