Iran badly needs the sanctions lifted so it can try to improve its economy. They need to invest in infrastructure and education. I honestly don't think Iran is going to back out of this.

I can tell you one other thing that will benefit the United States from this deal that no one has mentioned, more Iranian students attending universities. When I was an undergraduate student one of the RAs in my dorm was from Iran. One of the nicest guys I've met.
