...taste, but I think I'm doing fine with it!

Back when my Mom passed away, 7 years ago, my youngest brother (her executor) brought us siblings a Glenlivet 3-pack in a wooden presentation box. I think there were 10, 12, and 14 year old bottles, one each. Ohhhhh myyyy. We did a bit of damage on those while sorting out her things.

The next Christmas I got myself one of those. This Christmas I decided to try the Oban, which is nice and peaty. It takes me awhile to finish a bottle because hubby can't drink (makes his guts bleed) and our friends are all into wine, those who haven't had to lay off for various other reasons. And my siblings all live very very far away.

They say drinking alone is a bad sign, but I find it a rather tasty treat. And tonight -- well, I appear to be among friends.
