2. DeWine was elected to the OH Governorship in 2018.

After DeWine’s US Senate defeat in 2006, he ran for State Attorney General in 2010. Kasich ran for Governor in 2010. Both DeWine and Kasich won their respected elected offices in 2010 and 2014. In 2018 DeWine was elected Governor. DeWine is able to seek re-election to the OH Governorship.
