5. There's a column to the left when you click on your hard drive icon and open that window

There are several icons, (kinda in the middle) one of them being a house, probably with your name.

MacHD is there, too, probably at the top. If you click on that, it takes you to the nitty gritty of your hard drive and shows the hard drive library.

On edit: the house allows you to keep that area private if you have other people using your computer. You can password protect that area. If you are the only one to use it, though, the password can be a PIA. you have to enter it whenever you start computer and when it awakes from sleeping.
