Never thought to ask here... [View all]

Maybe you can help.

OK So for the last 6 months I have had the problem of no camera on my 2024 HP Envy Windows 11. I have uninstalled and installed it through the Device Manager, bought a new camera to attach with USB, tried to get the settings to work. The camera worked when I first got it.

Nothing. Nada. Nyet! Sometimes the camera is seen by a search, other times it is not seen. Often times trying to reinstall the camera, it says the camera is still there. I have followed instructions with HP, YT and other places about what it is, how to fix it, and why this happens, but their suggestions do not work. I have even tried reinstalling Windows 11 (on the top of the old one), but it says I am already up to date.

What else can I do? I need a camera for Zoom meetings and appointments. GAH!

TY so much if you have any other suggestions

Sincerely, Cat from Seattle
