...in your same generation. And seven years is what I've always heard about the life of a mattress. But yeah they probably didn't replace them that often. What bugs me now is that they make them non-reversible--you used to be able to flip them every few months for longer life for the inner springs.

I do yoga about five times a week--just a 15 minute routine following along with a tv program. I think it does help keep me flexible. (I also ride an indoor recumbent bike about three hours a week total for cardio). But keeping that lower back flexible will help with the stiffness!
