I don't think it was crockpot brand but a slow cooker of some sort and I think it came from Walmart too. It made a huge mess but it didn't blow up everywhere like yours did, the ceramic pot just split open and the liquid spilled all over the countertop and over onto the floor.

I still use my crockpot from time to time, but now I worry more about leaving it.
