He is American with dual citizenship/ Canada ... His wife is from Jordan/ Palestinian and Syrian Christians and grew up in Dubai...she is now Canadian.... So, with her heritage, they are going to Mexico and family will visit them there as a festive family event....

Forgot to clarify..... son and his family live in Alberta Canada... rest of family in USA.

USA is just too damn dysfunctional....
