First Nations dancer uses new dance to reshape trauma and honour the past [View all]

Cradleboards are traditional Indigenous baby carriers. They're not commonly used in powwow dances, but Marrisa Moccasin-Mistuing wanted to put them front and centre at a recent powwow. As she tells it, they added the new women's dance to honour residential schools survivors and Indigenous parents everywhere.
