Pierre Poilievre may be popular among the right wing Conservatives and corporate media in Canada, but he's just another Harper toady to most Canadians. He is, in and of himself, the Elite, who has lived off taxpayers his entire life.
He'll be about as effective a Conservative leader as his two predecessors were. Which is, not effective at anything but keeping the Conservative Party in the political wilderness.
What's more, he's the Champion of the Convoy crowd, who most Canadians, according to every poll, disagree with.
The guy is a lost cause.
