And before. In ‘93, the state froze revenue limits per pupil. Districts have literally had the money they can raise per pupil frozen for over 30 years. Our state legislature is all pro-school vouchers and the private and charter schools get what they need, while funding for our public schools does not keep pace with inflation.

In ‘22 and ‘23, with record inflation, we got NO INCREASE per pupil for state funding. We were directed to use our federal ESSER funds to balance our budgets. That money was supposed to be for mitigating learning loss during COVID.

We must vote out republicans in our state.
