I live in a city that overlaps two counties. The county to the north of us changed brands of voting tabulators which made obsolete three voting machines in one city precinct. Our city clerk purchased three new voting machines of the same brand as the county in order to keep the counting accurate and timely...

The clerk applied for and received a grant from Zuckermann's foundation to purchase those machines. City didn't have to pay out of our general fund.

That's how we became aware of this.
