With the intention being drawing reaction and ire ... - And then - "Oops - gosh - didn't think THAT would happen ..!"
(and in actuality - the kids, at least those that survived - are really kind of thrilled and delighted in this outcome ... - - momentarily famous ... )

And, yeah - there were cranks with guns, even back 70 years ago. But then - collectively - we hadn't watched nearly as many Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Steven Seagal - 'good guy takes law into ..' - "avenges .. ' - episodes back then.
