Terrible lightning, dangerous wind, rain pouring like out of a bucket.

I wonder if their cruise control was engaged. I am forever warning my husband about the danger of using cruise control on a rain soaked highway. Notorious for causing hydroplaning.

The mother of a friend of mine was using cruise during a rainstorm. Her car hit a puddle, cruise control went crazy, her car left the ground, and when it came back down, she was going over 100 miles per hour. Luckily, she got it stopped and didn’t hit anything, but I’m pretty sure she never drove a car again.

Don’t use cruise control while driving in a rainstorm!
