I took part in the Raleigh, NC "No Kings" event. There was an impressive, diverse crowd, that looked to be getting bigger as time went on.

There were attendees of all ages from tots with their families, school age kids, teens, college age, right up to the to the older folk, like myself. Everyone was having a good time. It was peaceful and friendly. We did some chants for democracy, etc. There were some crazy colorful costumes, flags. The signs were wonderful, all homemade, great apropos wording, for the occasion.

My sign started falling apart by the end. I'd also used it yesterday, at our little local resistance event, that goes on every Friday, at one of the well traveled highways, in and out of town. What a grand day. I am glad I went.
