The settlement is on the low end for that type of injury ($2,000 per month for 25 years).

I believe that his attorney received too large of a cut in the settlement. I've never seen an attorney take more than 50% on a contingency case, particularly on one where the outcome of the settlement is relatively meager.

I also wonder what will happen to the young man in the future after the structured settlement is completed.
