We had some people over for crabs. I was surprised that my husband took the risk. And our neighborhood had a gathering for July 4th. Again, a risk. We celebrated a sorority sister's funeral. All wearing masks, but not social distancing 6 feet.

I visited some family, masked and social distanced. It hurt not to hug, but it meant a lot to see everyone.

I have been to a few stores. Social distanced, masked. Stores that required it. Stores where patrons honored it.

But, the most pathetic thing - I went into a store with my mask at my neck. I forgot to pull it up. No one said anything. I realized it when I got back to my car. I felt so stupid.
