They started with Chicago and some inner suburbs. Hoffman Estates, otoh, is pretty far out from the city (32 miles, according to Google Maps), much closer to my neck of the woods.

To give you an idea how close to home this is for me, I live 50 miles northwest of Chicago and only 18 miles from Hoffman Estates. We have lots of Latinx folks in this area, the vast majority of whom are pleasant, hard working people. I hope to hell ICE doesn't drag their sadistic asses all the way out here.
