2. Jesse White (or his office) have been good about supporting libraries

I work in the library field, and the State Library (White is the State Librarian in addition to being Secretary of State - the jobs are linked in IL) under the Secretary's office has worked hard to minimize the impact of the economic woes of the State on libraries as much as possible.
