We were discussing the cost of doing nothing in another thread.

Here’s a one more example of why an initial cost is WORTH absorbing. Because of the benefits ghat result from that investment.

And here’s a thought:
It’s not a cost (adds a negative, destructive tint to the picture). It’s an INVESTMENT (adds a positive, constructive note).

Investments feed people. House people. Shelter and comfort and heal people. Investments target needs, deficiencies, imbalances. And help make course corrections.

The act of cutting funding, decreasing investment, is crippling. Cutting equals crippling.

And is that really what we’re about? Taking the cheap way out has never been a good answer, because you tend to get what you pay for.
