It was worthwhile. I'm now one of those 121,281 Medicaid enrollees.

What was surreal was that when you call the hotline, the third option is "press 3 to apply to become a Navigator." If I'd called in January instead of March, I would have applied and based on my experience in social-service NPOs almost certainly been hired which would have provided me with a job with insurance and thus made me one less enrollee.

I wonder if I can still apply? I doubt there is much work until this time next year though.
