Pensacola Naval Air Station. It works. I used it when I came across a man having a heart attack and there was no cell signal. These are available at R.E. I. Amazon and other outdoor stores.

The second, is my Apple iPhone 14. If you own a "14" or later it, and some of the watches, are equipped with satellite text communication. If you own one, try out the "test" emergency service to see how it works.

I bought the first S.O.S. beacon after reading about a woman who was jammed into her car, after hitting ice and skidding off a road in Connecticut.
