Does California still mail each voter a ballot booklet? [View all]

Used to in the 90s before we could do our own Internet search.

Each candidate was invited to submit a 200 word description, and paid for it.

Mostly of course, were the propositions (around 20 each cycle) with the pro and con comments, and rebuttals, and name of sponsors.

Was quite helpful.

Still exist?

Curious.
