I always thought they'd be bigger.
Despite their thick, lush sound, they remembered that rock is about drums & guitars.
It's an approach that worked great for The Cars & Duran Duran, but didn't work like I thought it would for these guys.
They had a strong image, too. It surprises me they weren't far more successful.
