My favorite movie of all time. I watched it a few times while in Antarctica (1969-2000) in the NAVY. Three or four reels I think.
When I left the ICE for duty in Christchurch I met my future wife. Interestingly one of her friends was going with a guy who was in the movie. Either Italian or Spanish I imagine because we talked to her long distance in either Italy or Spain, I don't remember. I love the reaction videos on YouTube of it.
