I accidentally killed a squirrel, my rain bucket had no lid [View all]

and somehow the squirrel jumped in and as the water was so low but not low enough the squirrel drowned, I'm distraught as he/she was getting to be more trustful around me.

I will attach a lid in the future but for now I will keep it empty and on its side
