7. I remember how happy I was years ago when Sam Adams came to our local stores

I was in Utah, which most people understand to be behind the times in regard to anything involving alcohol. Anyway, premium beers for us were Michelob and Lowenbrau. The state-run liquor stores did have a decent selection of imports like Guinness, Samuel Smith, etc., but nearly no U.S. made craft beers. The local grocery stores could not legally sell any beers having over 3.2% alcohol, which eliminated a good many beers.

Believe it or not, the craft beer industry in Utah really boomed when the state decided that they could sell Utah made beers of higher alcohol content in the stores. Oh happy day!
