I had been at a meeting and just got into my car when my phone rang. I answered it, got into a conversation with the caller, at the same time I realized my phone wasn't in my pocket where I usually kept it, and I dug around in my purse for it, couldn't find it on the car seat or floor, began to wonder whether I'd left it on the table at the meeting - and all the while I'm talking to someone ON THE PHONE THAT I COULDN'T FIND. I explained to the person I was talking to that I was now officially senile because I'd been frantically trying to find the phone I was talking on.
