The Austrian woman in whose Gasthaus I rented a room in Salzburg in 1992, who had a side gig with a tour bus company, didn't ask me if I wanted to go on a "Sound of Music" tour, but at what time I would like to do so.

When I told her I wasn't interested, she very nearly hyperventilated. She rocked on her heels, teetered, windmilled her arms, and bellowed, "WHAT???" (yes, with three question marks.) I repeated my answer, and she walked away, shaking her head.

I should borrow a copy from my library. I'd probably enjoy it.
