I adopted my friend's old kitty last year, when my friend passed away. The kitty was at least 19, with thyroid and kidney ailments, so I knew I wouldn't have her forever. I knew the kitty since my friend adopted her, and we got along pretty good. The kitty was an adult when my friend rescued her from the basement of the school where she worked. So we never knew exactly how old Cleo was, just approximately how long my friend had her.
I'm ready to move the furniture, maybe not with joy, but with less sadness.

You are very kind, thank you.
