Doctor appointment last week [View all]

As I always do, I spouted off to my doc about the never ending stream of GODDAMN STUPID pharmaceutical ads on TV wherein everybody on medication is having SUCH A GODDAMN GOOD TIME: on the job, going shopping, playing sports, sharing birthday cake, you name it. SO MUCH FUN. Not a single symptom to be seen.

My least favorite features the GODDAMN CHEERFUL employee turning to his/her coworkers, and belting out this perky song:

"I have type-two diabetes but I handle it well..." as they all dance and cavort around.

Stupid. "Who sings about this?!" I asked the doc.

"Well.. this guy, anyway," he replied.

I wondered if they would try this for other symptoms. "I have bloody diarrhea but I handle it well.."
