3. So, private religious schools have no intention to indoctrinate?

In the case of public schools the indoctrination they perceive is what non-sectarian fact-based instruction looks like. It's the absence of religious indoctrination that they dislike. In their minds the absence of a thing is proof that the opposite of that thing exists. That's pretzel logic.

They know that public education works well and that their approaches are not working well. They think that government funding will let them achieve parity but because their approaches are based on magical thinking and middle eastern mythology all that money will just be lipstick on a pig.
