The local indie paper had an article recently about the reintroduction of wolves here, and the various reactions. "oh my god, I've lost ten head of cattle out of my 1,000+. i'm ruined!" "my family has had this ranch for 4 generations. the wolves are destroying it." "my family have been guides for years. i have a right to keep doing it." None of them appreciated my remarks on their obtuse ignorance and selfishness.
