And if he's looking for an interim senator, someone else here mentioned a likely choice and she had crossed my mind, too. Barbara Boxer! She's experienced and knew Dianne Feinstein well and it would just be a temporary position. I always liked her - back in the day I wondered if she might be our first female president.
