In my view, a big mistake we on the left make is that we too often don't take wins when we get them. We are so eager to show how "orthodox" and "pure" we are that when someone like Marjorie Taylor Greene begins moving in the right (left) direction, we immediately shit on her and reject her from our "club."

I'm not suggesting we be naive or turn a blind eye to a person's past or continued ignorance in other areas, but coalitions that actually move us in the right direction aren't built using purity tests. They are built by accepting allies wherever we can find them on the issues that matter.

Wealth inequality, affordable healthcare, avoiding pointless wars, and government transparency are all winnable issues for us, but not if we reject and ostracize folks from the right who are willing to help us accomplish these goals.

What do we ultimately accomplish by rejecting folks who are finally rejecting Trump? It's self-defeating.

With eyes wide open, we have the opportunity to take advantage of this shift.

We can finally rid ourselves of the corporate wing of the Democratic Party and every remaining neocon. And, most importantly, we can work together to facilitate the end of MAGA forever.

Or you can make yourself feel good by clinging to your self-righteous shunning.

This is not aimed at anyone on this thread, just at the good Democrats who seem to not want to hear anything Greene says.
