Forget for a minute that I don't believe him and that his involvement in Crypto currency is probably the most corrupt activity that any president has every undertaken.

Taken at face value, he just said that he pardoned someone who he did not know and whose crimes he was unfamiliar. That is an outrageous misuse of executive power.
