8. Has anyone considered a compromise deal?

Could they possibly agree on a watered-down version of the enhanced subsidies? Maybe set them somewhere in between the enhanced tax credits that were passed under Biden and the level they were at before. That would still be an improvement over the pre-pandemic ACA, and neither party would have to look like they completely caved to the other. I don't know if either side has offered something like that as a solution. If they have, I haven't heard about it.
