This story is mostly a mish-mash of known facts taken from other news stories about Chump & Epstein. But I never saw the photo of the Palm Beach property before. Also I didn't know that Leslie Wexner was the previous owner of the property. That explains how Epstein learned about it.

Chump grabbed it up from the other bidders even though Epstein had told Chump that HE was looking at the property and planned to bid. That's how they had their falling out, over a piece of Palm Beach property.
