Trump is also severely restricting the visas for foreign medical residents who want to do their residency in an American hospital. In addition to the prospective residents who will not be able to receive a visa many more will be persuaded to not even apply to a country that presents so many barriers. So say good-bye to 10-20% of the resident docs in your local hospital.
