13. I don't know the basis for declaring any particular P/E as "unsustainable"

I do think that there is increased appetite for elevated P/E's... a "new normal." But I agree that 100 P/E is really high.

Furhter, the circular financing of the big AI companies is a house of cards waiting to fall.

Open AI in particular looks vulnerable. They are spending so much money. They are predicting profitability by 2029, but that depends on everything going right. When questioned about it, Altman got snarky.... never a good sign.

That markets are really skittish right now. Not surprising... everybody is talking about a bubble, so everybody is nervous. It could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Fortunately, I don't retire for another 7-8 years.
