8. I think there is a gradual move away from Trump

It is so rare for republicans to pull away from the herd, but I'm sure there is a lot of talk behind closed doors. Meanwhile, I think many of them were just waiting for someone else to make the first move. Once they realize that the sky didn't fall in, I believe more will follow.

Also, they can see what we see when Trump is on their television screens and undoubtedly realize the man won't be around long enough to make their lives a holy hell.
