It seems like a lot of merchants don't want to bother with keeping stuff in stock, and it forces people like to buy from Amazon.
I had a heck of a time trying to find pantyhose in my local stores. So I ordered from Amazon. Same thing happened when I needed a few small USB flash sticks, which I used to get at stores like Dollar General, or Target, or Walmart. I can't drive around to a half-dozen different stores, so now I just order from Amazon even though I'd rather buy locally.
