..as I learned it, is when the corporations take over the levers of power and strive for their better welfare., citizens be damned.

Hitler didn't invade his neighbors because he was a real estate developer. It was for cheap labor and the raw materials needed to feed a growing industrial base, especially the military conglomerates that kept him in power.

Here we come Greenland and Venezuela.

The other side of the coin is communism, where the government owns all the nation's companies. No advertising and nor red tape needed to get things done. We should be neither.
