She mounted a great campaign, as did her team inherited from Biden.

Her characterization of Trump didn't stick enough. The pitch was as much strident as it was moral outrage.

We need a more business/community governing image than we do a prosecutor. It would show we're moving on from Trump, even if he's still in office. People are tired of it now, think of 2028.

The only thing we can't bring to the ticket is balance from the Deep South. At this juncture it looks like Newsom and a northeast/midwest Governor or perhaps Senator. Anyone taking odds on Newsom-Murphy?
