19. Revenge Is Not Justice

Here we go again — another grand jury, another promise to punish the other side. Justice isn’t supposed to be payback. When the law becomes a weapon for revenge, democracy starts to bleed.

Jesus stood before corrupt judges, too. He didn’t answer hate with hate — He answered with truth. Maybe that’s what this nation needs now: less fury, more honesty.

Lord, have mercy on a country where power has forgotten humility. Heal the hearts of those who use justice to harm. Protect the innocent, guide the honest, and remind every leader that vengeance belongs to You alone. Let truth rise above politics, and mercy reign where pride once ruled. Amen.
