Apparently, Trump called Rupert personally as soon as he found out the WSJ was going to run the story on Trump's birthday letter to Epstein. Trump demanded Rupert make WSJ not run it, insisting it's fake news. He claims Rupert said he'd "take care of it." Trump thinks that's evidence of Rupert admitting the letter was fake news and shouldn't have been published. But, of course, it's just evidence of Trump trying to fraudulently manipulate media coverage, which is how he got tagged with 34 felonies, trying to bury the Stormy Daniels story.
