There was an assumption with DOGE (in Elon’s Ketamine soaked brain) that there was corruption and fraud. Turns out that really was not true— and that comes from at least one person that worked for DOGE.

There’s a similar assumption here. That there are just thousands and thousands (or in Trump’s fevered mind millions and millions) of hardened criminals that are living among us. Well, I’m sure that there are some hardened criminals but I would venture to guess that the numbers are pretty damn low.

If they continue down this path (and I seen no reason to believe that they won’t) this is going to cause an amount of damage to the economy that is almost incalculable. They’re going to be fucking with the absolute foundation of the economy.

There are a lot of jobs in this country that nobody really wants to do. Even the people that do them don’t want to do them. But we have enough people in this country, and many of them are here without any sort of papers, that are in the position where they have to do them. If we deport them the jobs literally will not get done.

If these jobs don’t get done in many cases we’re talking about food literally not being on people’s tables. And this includes people like me who right now have no trouble affording food. But if it’s not at the grocery store I’m pretty well screwed. I don’t own a farm and I have no livestock. If you shove a stick in the spokes of the food economy and the truck stop showing up— I’ll be one of the first to starve. So will these dumb motherfuckers in the Republican Party that thought this was a great idea when Trump started shooting his mouth off back in 2015 and before.
